  2nd visit honest review: Again, terrible management of food service resulting in 1:30hour+ wait for food that's served with undercooked and overcooked food on the same plate. Unapproachable young staff are stressed and poorly guided. An overflowing female toilet was actually LEFT pouring instead of being immediately fixed because the staff said "Yes we are aware and we will deal with it as soon as we can but we are just too busy". Outside seating customers are clearly left with a lower priority. "Reserved" seating is left un-taken throughout the inside as a technique to manage less visitors. Speaking with other families they report the attraction to The White Swan is the outdoor playground and certainly not the restaurant service. With so much potential, it is a shame that the existing management cannot provide what is needed to handle the influx of customers that want to enjoy the location.
  To Summarise: Maybe better next year under new management.

  Absolutely appalling service for Sunday Lunch. We've been waiting for over 2 hours and no apologies for the pathetic delays. Everyone else around us haven't had their meals either.
  Wouldn't recommend here to anyone.

  Looked like it had great potential, but was disappointed. There was only one person serving at lunchtime (someone had rung in sick), and she was clearly run off her feet. That being said, she ignored my husband completely, and it was only when we were about to leave, after waiting for more than 15 minutes to be served, that she sprung into action. We had paninis to eat, which were very nice, but were a bit distracted by the loud sweary locals standing at the bar. It looks like it should be charming, but there was no charm about it at all.

  I enjoyed the main course and wanted gipsy tart from the menu. The chef, Debbie, had been told half hour previously that it had all gone. She told me she would make some for me if I could wait half an hour. I was happy to wait as I had a good book with me and could enjoy the peaceful ambience. It was delicious and we'll worth waiting for. I will definitely return.
